We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. With your expertise in accounting principles and strong attention to detail, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including vendor payments, customer invoices, and employee expense reports.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support the Accounting Manager in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
