Responsibilities
- Assist brides-to-be in choosing their dream wedding gown, taking into consideration their style preferences, body type, and budget
- Provide a personalized and attentive shopping experience, making the bride and her entourage feel comfortable and confident throughout the process
- Offer expert advice on accessories, such as veils, jewelry, and shoes, to complement the chosen gown
- Ensure gowns are properly showcased and maintained, including steaming, cleaning, and proper storage
- Collaborate with alterations team to ensure accurate measurements and fittings for brides
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in bridal fashion, attending fashion shows and participating in trainings as necessary
- Build and maintain relationships with bridal industry professionals, including wedding planners and photographers, to expand customer base and generate referrals
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Bridal Stylist or in a similar role within the retail industry
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of various bridal gown designers, styles, and materials
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring an efficient and smooth operation of the bridal department
- Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism, maintaining a calm and positive demeanor
- Flexible schedule, including working weekends and evenings as required by customer demand
