We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team in the Facilities Services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our facilities' outdoor areas. This includes tasks such as mowing the lawn, planting and pruning trees and shrubs, and ensuring that all walkways and parking lots are clear of debris. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.


Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on all outdoor areas, including mowing, edging, and weeding
  • Plant and prune trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure their health and aesthetic appeal
  • Clean walkways and parking lots to ensure they are safe and free of debris
  • Maintain and repair all outdoor equipment, including lawn mowers and power tools
  • Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of outdoor areas
  • Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots during inclement weather
  • Assist with landscaping projects, such as installing new plants or creating garden beds

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Proven experience working as a Groundskeeper or in a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques
  4. Ability to operate and maintain various outdoor equipment, such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers
  5. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  6. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in outdoor areas
